Wizzard allows you to toggle the visibility of hidden
files and folders with the simple click of a button:

Q: When I tell Wizzard to show all invisible files all icons get grayed out. Is that a bug?
A: No. Wizzard uses the following command lines to toggle the visibility:
defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles Yes
defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles No
Those two are standard commands from Apple. So if it is a bug - blame Apple ;-)
