PayPal and eSellerate both use secure order forms (your credit card data is encrypted during transmission and they don\'t reveal it to us). Approval is instantaneous in the case of PayPal account-to-account transfer; it usually takes a few minutes for credit cards, and checks have to be cleared.

As soon as the payment processor approves the payment we are sent a notification of your purchase. Upon receipt of this we enter your purchase in our database. This does not happen automatically but is done by a human. Thus, depending on time of day and other factors, the period between approval of your payment and the entering of your purchase varies between a few minutes and several hours, but is almost never more than 24 hours. As soon as your purchase is registered in our database we send you an email message with an activation key to convert the downloadable trial version into a fully-functional version. Please make sure to check your spam folder until receival.
For the best chance of the least delay between payment and receiving the activation key, order between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m. if in North America, or between 10 a.m. and 9 p.m. if in Europe.
